The statue measures 15.7 cm in width and 13 cm in depth, weighing approximately 2.54 kg, making it a remarkable artifact for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

The Ava period is noted for its unique contributions to Burmese art, particularly in the portrayal of Buddha figures that combine elements of both local tradition and influences from neighboring cultures. This statue is depicted in a serene pose, indicative of the spiritual tranquility often associated with Buddhist iconography.

The Bhumisparsha mudra, often symbolizing the moment of Buddha's enlightenment, adds to the historical significance of this statue. The representation of this gesture reinforces the principles of seeking refuge in one's own qualities, a pivotal tenet of Buddhism.
