This exquisite wooden statue, depicting a seated Buddha on an ornate elephant throne, originates from Burma (Myanmar) and dates back to the mid-20th century. Standing 60 cm tall and 36 cm wide, this piece exemplifies the unique artistry of Burmese craftsmanship, characterized by intricate detailing and the use of vibrant colors that evoke both reverence and serenity.
