The statue, measuring 97 cm wide and 62 cm deep, embodies the Mandalay style, recognized for its intricate details and serene expression.

The Mandalay period in Burma was marked by a revival of traditional Buddhist iconography. This statue reflects that rich artistic heritage, capturing the essence of Buddhist teachings through its tranquil depiction. The choice of bronze not only signifies durability but also serves as a testament to the material's spiritual significance in Buddhist practices, symbolizing strength and permanence.

This particular statue is posed in the Bhumisparsha mudra, which represents the moment of enlightenment, where the Buddha calls the earth to witness his resolve against Mara’s temptations. This gesture, deeply rooted in Buddhist tradition, invites reflection and mindfulness among viewers.
